SMS Terms

Nexus is a personal productivity app for iOS, operated by Circle of Light LLC. This page describes our optional SMS program: what it sends, exactly how you opt in, and how to stop.

1. Program Description

Subscribers receive a morning and an evening quote drawn from their own daily practice, plus occasional content updates, reflections, and account and product notifications. This is a recurring message program.

The program is available only to people who already have a Nexus account. It is off by default, and we never send messages to anyone who has not opted in.

2. How to Opt In

Opt-in happens inside the Nexus iOS app. There is no web signup form, and we do not collect phone numbers for messaging anywhere else.

  1. Open the Nexus app and go to Settings.
  2. Add your mobile number under Phone Number.
  3. Scroll to SMS Updates and turn on Content updates by text. This toggle is off by default.
  4. Read and accept the consent disclosure shown directly beneath the toggle.
  5. We send one confirmation text. Reply YES to complete a double opt-in. No further messages are sent until you do.

3. Consent Language

This is the exact disclosure shown in the app, which you must accept to opt in:

By turning this on, you consent to receive recurring text messages from Nexus, including a morning and evening quote plus occasional content updates and reflections. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Up to 2 messages per day. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.

4. Message Frequency

Up to 2 messages per day: one quote in the morning and one in the evening, timed to the notification schedule you set in the app. Occasional account or product messages may add to that, but never more than a few in a week.

5. Cost

Nexus does not charge for SMS messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier.

6. How to Opt Out and Get Help

To stop messages, reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that. You can also turn the toggle off in Settings at any time.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Sample Messages

Nexus: "The day does not have to be won. It has to be met." - Marcus Aurelius. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
Nexus: The score on Home is a measurement, not a verdict. This week, open Home once a day. Notice the number. Do not fix it. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.
Nexus: Confirmed. Content updates will arrive at this number. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.
Nexus: Your evening reflection is ready. Take two minutes before the day closes. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.

8. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) solely to transmit the messages you asked for.
